Vitamin C deficiency

Symptoms

Eye lesions
There appear to be cuts on the eyes of the fish.

Haemorrhages - skin
Bloody haemorrhages are apparent over several parts of the skin.

Kyphosis
Anterior-posterior curvature of the spine

Scoliosis
Lateral curvature of the spine.

Growth poor
Parasite infested fish show very slow or no growth, as parasite is taking the food.

Causes

Lack of Vitamin C in diet.

Prognosis

Excellent if the condition is spotted early. Deformed fish will seldom if ever recover.
